HSE launch review of ambulance service following death of boy, 2, in Cork
The HSE has launched a formal review into why an ambulance wasn't sent to treat an injured toddler, who later died in Cork, even though one was available in the area.
Neighbours rang emergency services on Monday, after the two-year-old fell from an upstairs window in Midleton, but were told no ambulance was available to be sent.
