Coveney announces extension of imported fodder scheme

The Agriculture Minister has announced the extension of the imported fodder scheme for a further two weeks.

The fund is also being doubled to €2m.

Minister Simon Coveney said the decision was made following consultation with Met Éireann, Co Ops and the farming organisation Teagasc.
