Man jailed for three years after threatening to put woman in his boot
A Dublin man who threatened to kill a 28-year-old mother in August 2011 over an alleged drug feud has been jailed for three years.
Thomas McConnell of Dunemer Rise, Lusk pleaded guilty to following her home after a school run and threatening to put her in his boot.
He showed the victim a hammer and a metal pole in his car before speeding off.
The judge handed down an extra two year sentence after Gardaí found over €16,000 of the drug “snow blow” at his home in October 2010.
