Elderly woman dies in Cork house fire

A woman has died following a house fire in Co Cork.

The alarm was raised just after 7am this morning at the house in Kilavoultra, near Macroom.

An 81-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene while another woman and a man - believed to be her son and daugther were treated for smoke inhalation.
