Maynooth researchers find way of boosting IQ

Experts at NUI Maynooth have discovered a way to boost your IQ.

The Irish Examiner reports that researchers have set up a company called Raise Your IQ , which translates their research into an online game that can improve normal day-to-day decision-making and problem-solving.

The new SMART (Strengthening Mental Abilities with Relational Thinking) programme was tested on primary school pupils over four months, demonstrating an average increase in intelligence levels of 23 points.

The new research flies in the face of the previous held view that an IQ cannot be improved.
