Man shot dead in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a fatal shooting at Greenogue Industrial Estate, Rathcoole earlier this morning.

The shooting happened at around 9.30am

A man in his mid 40s received gun shot wounds to his body, and was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The area has been sealed off for a technical and forensic examination. The office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
