Two arrests after Meath drugs seizure
Two people have been arrested after gardai seized drugs worth an estimated €1.5m in Co Meath.
Cannabis plants and herb were discovered at a business premises in Kells, Co Meath, last night.
Officers said a large cannabis cultivation operation was discovered.
A 53-year-old man and 43-year-old woman were detained at the scene.
They are being held at Kells Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 - Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
The raid was part of an intelligence led operation by Kells Garda drug unit assisted by officers from the regional support unit.
