Woman dies in Cavan crash

A woman has died in a single-vehicle crash in Co Cavan.

The car the 53-year-old woman was driving hit and ditch and overturned at Drumahurk in Butlersbridge overnight, and was found by a passing motorist around 7am this morning.

Gardaí are investigating and are appealing for anyone who drove on the road at Drumahurk between midnight and 7am to contact them.
