A 25 year-old man has appeared in court today charged in connection with two violent stabbings in the Grafton Street area of Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Leon Wright, with an address at St Teresa's Gardens, is accused of assault causing harm, robbery and the possession of a knife.
