Survivors of Symphysiotomy want statute of limitation lifted

Survivors of Symphysiotomy are urging the Government to support a bill calling for the statute of limitations to be lifted.

Symphysiotomy is a discredited practice that was carried out in Irish maternity hospitals, whereby a woman's pubic bone was sawn during, or before childbirth, to ease delivery.
