Dutch man charged with dangerous driving causing death
A Dutch national has appeared before a special sitting of Waterford District Court tonight charged with dangerous driving causing death.
A 45-year-old woman was seriously injured when the car she was travelling in collided with a van on the N25 at Ballyduff West, on the main Waterford to Dungarvan Road last night.
She was taken by ambulance to Waterford Regional Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The 44-year-old man was arrested following the collision and appeared in court tonight.
He has been remanded in custody to appear again on April 9.
