Halappanavar husband unhappy with HSE inquiry
Praveen Halappanavar's solicitor has said his client is not satisfied with the HSE inquiry into the death of his wife Savita.
Gerard O'Donnell reportedly said Praveen doesn't believe the report answers key questions about her death at University Hospital Galway last October, including why she died, and why she was refused a termination.
The draft report is understood to point to shortcomings at all levels of Savita's care.
Gerard O'Donnell says none of the staff at University Hospital Galway gave sworn evidence to the inquiry and were not cross-examined.
Praveen is understood to have decided not to meet the inquiry chairman, instead allowing Mr O'Donnell to attend and offer what he described as a 'robust response'.
