Youth website offers to meet TD after row over 'threesomes' advice

A youth website has invited Fine Gael TD Michelle Mulherin to visit their offices after she criticised their public funding.

SpunOut.ie provoked the ire of the Mayo TD and religious think tank the Iona Institute after a piece giving advice to young people about 'threesomes'.

Sput out received funding last year of €124,000.

The website said the focus of their information is on safer sex, contraception and respect.

Meanwhile, Ian Power of Spunout.ie has defended the article, and has invited Deputy Mulherin into the website's offices to see its work first hand.
