Two appear in court charged with cocaine seizure in Cork
A man and a woman have appeared in court this evening charged in connection with the seizure of a kilo of cocaine in Cork.
56-year-old Padraig Gavin from Rockville Crescent, Blackrock, Co Dublin and 22-year-old Jennifer Heaphy of Kerryhall Road, Fairhill, Cork were both charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine for sale or supply.
The pair were arrested on Saturday evening after gardaí seized €70,000 worth of the drug at Sallybrook, Glanmire, Co Cork.
Both are due back in Cork District Court on Tuesday
