A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after being pulled from a river in Co Cork this evening.

A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after being pulled from a river in Co Cork this evening.

It is understood the boy fell into the water just after 7pm near the Mill Road in Midleton.
