Armed gardaí attend Limerick 'stand-off'

Gardaí are at the scene of a stand-off in Limerick city.

A man has barricaded himself into an apartment on John St and is refusing to leave.

Armed gardaí and an ambulance are at the scene and gardaí have closed off the street.

It is understood the man is alone in the apartment.
