US Vice President to visit Ireland

The Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, is to visit Ireland later this year.

The Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, is to visit Ireland later this year.

Mr Biden's trip was announced at his residence in Washington DC, where he hosted a St Patrick's Day event for the Taoiseach today, and will be the first official visit to Ireland by the Vice President.
