Flag protest violence stops game in Belfast

In the North, two rival football teams, Crusaders and Seaview, have cancelled a match in Belfast after violence erupted at a loyalist flag protest outside the ground.

The demonstration was taking place on the Shore Road and many of the supporters were unable to gain access to the stadium.

DUP councillor, Guy Spence, who was at the game, said trouble broke out when police tried to move protestors away from Seaview.
