An 80-year-old pedestrian has died after she was hit by a truck in Co Mayo.

The woman was pronounced dead at Mayo General Hospital after being seriously injured in the incident on the Ballinrobe to Castlebar Rd at Aughadrina shortly after 1pm yesterday.
