Local family collect €10.6m Lotto jackpot

Wednesday's €10.6m Lotto jackpot has been collected today.

The anonymous family group syndicate from Co Tipperary, are the first Lotto jackpot winners of 2013.

They matched the first six numbers to scoop €10,613,747.

The group told Lotto administrators they had been playing for years, and plan to clear some bills and take a nice holiday.

The €6 Quick Pick ticket was bought in Scanlons Newsagents, Liberty Square, Thurles, Co Tipperary on the day of the draw.
