Man dies in Kildare car accident

A man in his 40s has died after a road collision in Co. Kildare.

Gardaí in Carbury are investigating after the two-vehicle crash on the M4 East bound near Broadford, Kinnegad at about 9.50pm yesterday.

The man who died was the only person in the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sole occupant of the second car, a male in his 20’s, was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown with injuries described as not life threatening.
