Pair questioned after €7m drugs haul

A garda swoop in counties Kildare and Dublin yesterday led to the seizure of an estimated €7m worth of drugs.

Heroin, cocaine and cannabis were uncovered when a car was stopped and searched in a carpark in Naas yesterday afternoon, while a further quantity of drugs was found in follow-up searches.

Two men, aged 31 and 32 respectively, were arrested. They are being held at Naas Garda Station.
