Two arrested after €5.5m drug seizure
Two men have been arrested following a significant drugs seizure in Co. Kildare this afternoon.
Cocaine and heroine with an estimated street value of up to €5.5 million was found when officers stopped and searched a car in Naas earlier today.
Two men aged in their thirties were arrested and are currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at Naas Garda station.
Meanwhile during follow up searches this evening, in the Palmerstown and Celbridge areas, Gardai seized cocaine, cannabis herb and heroin with an estimated street value in excess of €1.25 million.
