Suppliers withdraw products after horse meat found in beef burgers
The companies who provided beef burgers that contained horse meat and pig DNA to Irish supermarkets have withdrawn the products from the market.
In a statement, Liffey Meats said the contamination came from imported ingredients that would be replaced before it resumes supplying supermarkets.
