Dublin teen in court accused of fatal stabbing

A 19-year-old Dublin man has appeared in court this afternoon, charged with the fatal stabbing of Kevin Kenny 18 months ago.

Craig O'Halloran of Colepark Road, Ballyfermot is accused of murdering the 32-year-old electrician on July 31, 2011.

The court was told the 19-year-old made no comment when the murder charge was put to him at Ballyfermot Garda Station last night.

Sgt Denis Smith gave evidence Craig O'Halloran was arrested at his home at 10.45pm.

He appeared before Judge Victor Blake who granted him legal aid and remanded him in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Friday.

Electrician Kevin Kenny, 32, was stabbed to death at Sarsfield Road following a row at Ruby Finnegan's pub where he'd been out with friends.
