Meath gardaí appeal for witnesses to fatal crash

Gardaí in Co Meath are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash on the M2 motorway last night.

A motorcyclist was killed when his bike and another vehicle were in collision between St Margaret's junction and the Ratoath/Ashbourne junction at around 7.30pm.

Parts of the M2 were closed overnight as gardaí carried out a forensic examination of the scene.

They have since re-opened this morning.
