Dublin man killed in Tenerife balcony fall

A Dublin man has died in an accident on Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

It is reported the man, who was in his 40s and believed to have been from Rush, fell 30 feet from a balcony in the early hours of this morning after a handrail came loose.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is in contact with the man's family here.
