Post mortem due on man found dead in Monaghan

A post mortem is due to take place later on the body of a 19 year old man who was found dead in Co Monaghan yesterday.

The discovery was made at around 12.30pm at a flat in Emyvale.

Gardaí say they are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the man's death- and will await the results of the post mortem before deciding what course of action to take.

It is believed the 19 year old had been assaulted outside a nightclub on the Kelvin in Omagh in Co Tyrone in the early hours of Monday morning.
