Gardaí keeping an open mind on Kildare shooting

Gardaí are investigating a shooting that happened just before 6am this morning in Kildare.

A 33-year-old man was taken to Naas General Hospital with serious gunshot injuries, but he was later pronounced dead.

A house in Kilmeague in Naas has been sealed off.

No arrests have been made and Gardaí have said they are keeping an open mind and are not ruling out the possibility that the man's death may have been accidental.
