More than 400 Irish soldiers abroad for Christmas

Up to 440 members of the Irish Defence Forces are spending Christmas Day overseas today, in 15 different countries.

It will be a white Christmas for troops in Kosovo and Bosnia, but those serving in Africa could face temperatures of over 40 degrees.
