Signifcant rise in Dublin Chlamydia cases
There has been a more than 20 percent increase in Chlamydia in Dublin according to new figures from the Well Woman Centre.
It is sounding a warning to Christmas party goers to practice safe sex during the festive season.
If diagnosed early, chlamydia can be treated with a course of antibiotics, but if left undiagnosed, it can lead to chronic pelvic pain, ectopic pregnancy and infertility in women.
