William Hague said that both governments are committed to strengthening their excellent relationship - something he said was clearly demonstrated during the Queen's visit last year.

Secretary Hague accompanied the Queen on her State visit - he was taken aback by the warmth of the welcome she received, and said that he will never forget it:
