Snake on a plane: Egyptian jet forced to make

A snake on a plane caused chaos in the air resulting in an emergency landing.

An Egypt Air pilot decided to land a jet after a snake bit a Jordanian man - who is thought to be the owner of the serpent - during a flight between Cairo and Kuwait City after escaping from his hand luggage.

Despite being injured, the man - who is thought to be the owner of a reptile store - rejected the offer of treatment.

Egypt Air officials explained: "He was bitten in his hand and after we administered first aid he insisted on taking the snake with him to Kuwait."

According to the Jordan Times, the snake was sliding around in the plane after escaping.
