The High Court has ruled against a 27 year-old woman who sued her boyfriend's parents after losing an eye in an accident at their home.

Elaine Newman formerly of Mullingar, Co Westmeath was looking for damages of €200,000 from Patrick and Marie Cogan arising from her injury at their house in Delvin, Co Meath in June 2007.
