Clinton among visitors to Dublin conference

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will join some of the world's most powerful politicians in Dublin this evening for a two-day conference.

The British Foreign Secretary William Hague and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will also be among the 50 dignitaries attending the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe event at the RDS.

However, during her time here, Hillary Clinton will also hold meetings on areas of co-operation with Ireland in promoting peace, human rights and economic growth.

On Friday she will travel to Belfast and hold meetings to discuss the peace process, economic opportunities for the North and the US-Ireland Research and Development Partnership.
