Court hears landmark challenge to assisted suicide law

Three High Court judges have begun hearing a landmark challenge to the law on assisted suicide.

Marie Fleming (aged 59), who is terminally ill with multiple sclerosis, is looking to end her own life, at a time of her choosing, in the arms of her long-term partner Tom Curran.
