Shannon Airport unions wait on plans to separate from Dublin Airport Authority

The Government will today outline plans to separate Shannon Airport from the Dublin Airport Authority by December 31.

It is hoped the move will create 3,000 new jobs as Shannon will be developed into an international centre for aviation-industry services, including pilot, crew and aviation-engineer training facilities.
