Overnight rain leads to problems on country's roads
Further heavy rain overnight has led to more problems on the country's roads.
AA Roadwatch says parts of Leinster and Munster are the worst affected.
Heavy rain's easing nationwide, but some roads in Leinster and Munster are flooded.
Gardaí say extreme care is needed on the M1 approaching Dublin, particularly around junctions two, three and four, which are said to be nearly impassable.
There is also flooding on the Chapelizod Rd inbound at South Circular Road.
Moving south to Wicklow, excess surface water's causing problems on the N11, particularly northbound at The Beehive; and at the Ballinameesda Bends.
Spot flooding in Greystones and Bray too.
A number of roads in Wexford town are impassable, the Wexford to Rosslare Rd is bad between Rocklands and the Rosslare Rd roundabout.
Flooding on the Waterford to Dunmore East Rd, at Dunmore East and Callaghane, and the N25 Waterford to New Ross Rd is impassable at New Glen.
In Cork, parts of Rathcormac are impassable, and in Tipperary the N76 Grangemockler to Kilheffernan Rd is impassable at O’Donnells Bend and at Glenbower.
