Ireland votes on Children's rights

Voters across Ireland go to the polls today to determine if the Government’s plans to enshrine children’s rights in the Constitution should be accepted.

Polls open on the back of a politically-damaging Supreme Court ruling over the misuse of public funds to inform the electorate about the campaign.
