Austrian man arrested for attempting to have sex with statue

An Austrian man has been arrested after he was caught trying to have sex with a bronze lion statue.

Matthias Maier was spotted by two policeman getting his leg over with the fake beast in Russe, Bulgaria, and the 24-year-old student – who had his trousers around his ankles at the time – was charged with obscenity on a public place.
