Nine arrested in Cavan/Monaghan drugs clampdown

Nine people have been arrested across Cavan and Monaghan in a garda operation clamping down on ecstasy and other drugs in the area.

Gardaí say a considerable amount of cash and controlled drugs were also seized.

Three women and six men, aged from their mid-20s to their 40s, are being questioned at various garda stations across the two counties under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
