Students targeted by sensible drinking campaign

College students are being targeted in a new hard hitting campaign aimed at encouraging sensible drinking.

Drinkaware.ie is putting life-size pictures of unconscious young men and women on the floors of toilets in campus bars across a number of colleges.

They will be accompanied by a poster with hundreds of Facebook 'likes', with the aim of reminding students that embarrassing nights out can live on through social media.

The campaign group wants young people to pace themselves on a night out.
