Wolfe Tone Commemoration to take place today

The annual Wolfe Tone Commemoration is taking place in Bodenstown, Co Kildare later today.

Fianna Fáil leader Michael Martin will give an oration and lay a wreath at the event.

Wolfe Tone was a leading Irish revolutionary figure and one of the founding members of the United Irishmen.

He is buried in Bodenstown churchyard.
