Gowing search enters seventh day

The search for a missing Irish woman in North Wales has now entered its seventh day.

Catherine Gowing, aged 37 and originally from Co. Offaly, was last seen leaving her work place in the Welsh town of Mold, last Friday evening.

CCTV footage has also emerged of her shopping later that evening in a supermarket in Queensferry.

Police have arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of her murder.

It is understood this man is known to Catherine and his period of detention has been extended until this evening.
