Police granted extension to question man arrested on suspicion of Gowing murder

Welsh police have confirmed that they have been granted a 36 hour extension to question the 46-year-old suspect arrested on suspicion of the murder of Irish woman Catherine Gowing.

Catherine was last seen on Friday night at around 8.30pm at an Asda store in Queensferry.

The search continues for Catherine in North Wales this evening and police say forensic examinations are also underway at her home.
