Police in Wales investigating the disappearance of an Irish woman have said that a man who was arrested last night on suspicion of her murder was known to her.

Police in Wales investigating the disappearance of an Irish woman have said that a man who was arrested last night on suspicion of her murder was known to her.

37-year-old Catherine Gowing from Clonlee, Clareen near Birr, moved to Wales after qualifying as a vet.
