Kenny to be greeted by Sligo protests
A number of protests are taking place outside the launch of a new integrated employment service centre in Sligo.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is due to attend the event along with the Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton.
The Save Our Services campaign is calling for cancer services to be maintained at Sligo General Hospital.
Thomas Kelly of the Can't Pay Won't Pay group, which is against austerity measures, says people can't take any more cuts.
"All we're saying to the politicians today is to stand up for the people. Forget about the banks and the bondholders, stand up for the people."
