US governor mixes up meningitis hotline with phone sex number

A US governor has been left red-faced after mixing up a meningitis hotline with a phone sex number.

Florida official Rick Scott accidentally read out a number of an adult hotline to people looking for information about a meningitis outbreak, and when they called the facility they were greeted by a woman saying: "Hello boys, thank you for calling me on my anniversary."
