Kerry Group to announce 800 jobs in Kildare
Up to 800 new jobs are expected to be announced this morning for Co Kildare by the Kerry Group.
The group, which has its headquarters in Tralee, employs more than 24,000 people worldwide supplying food products to 140 countries.
Among its products are globally recognised brands such as Denny, Dairygold, Dawn, Galtee, Cheesestrings and Charleville.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny will announce the massive investment and the company is to outline details of a new plant on a 230-acre site in Naas, Co Kildare.
It is understood that half the jobs will be in the research and development division of the firm.
