'Disappointing' turnout at Cork jobs fair

Organisers of a jobs fair in Cork today say they are disappointed with the turnout.

Five hundred construction jobs in Western Canada were up for grabs - however, only a small number of people showed up.

Over 10,000 people attended a similar expo in Dublin last weekend and large crowds were expected at the Ambassador Hotel in Cork city today.

Positions have been filled and the British Columbia Construction Association says anyone else who is looking for a job can go to their website.
